Toho Hibiya Building, High-rise building in Yurakucho, Japan

The Toho Hibiya Building is an 18-story high-rise with four basement levels in central Tokyo that reaches 72.2 meters high. The structure contains offices, retail spaces, and entertainment facilities that make it a multipurpose urban hub.

The building opened in 1987 and replaced two earlier venues in the neighborhood. Takenaka Corporation designed this structure as part of an urban renewal project that transformed the area and contributed to the district's development.

The building houses the headquarters of Toho Corporation, one of Japan's largest film production companies whose work shaped the country's cinema. You can feel the presence of this film industry legacy in the spaces around the structure and the connections to Japanese movie culture.

The building connects directly to Hibiya Station through a subway entrance, making access straightforward. Yūrakuchō Station lies just a short walk away and offers additional transportation options for visitors.

A large Godzilla statue stands in the plaza in front of the building and marks its connection to Japanese film tradition. This sculpture draws film fans and visitors who want to explore the site's importance in cinema culture.
