Jamsu Bridge, Road bridge in Seocho district, Seoul, South Korea
The Jamsu Bridge stretches 795 meters over the Han River, connecting the Seocho and Yongsan districts with two vehicle lanes and pedestrian paths.
Built in 1976, the bridge became part of Seoul's first double-deck crossing when the Banpo Bridge was constructed above it in 1982.
The bridge transforms into a gathering space during seasonal events, with local markets and food vendors setting up along its pedestrian walkways.
Visitors can access bicycle rentals at Banpo Hangang Park to cross the bridge or walk to Seobinggo subway station after traversing it.
During periods of heavy rainfall, the bridge structure submerges beneath the Han River's rising waters, leading to temporary closures.
