The Sampoong Department Store was a major commercial establishment in Seoul.
The store collapsed on June 29, 1995, due to structural failure.
Prior to its collapse, Sampoong was part of South Korea's economic prosperity era.
Remains of the store are not accessible as it has been replaced by other developments.
The disaster is one of the deadliest non-deliberate building collapses.
