Buiratau National Park

The park extends across 890 square kilometers of dry steppe and wooded areas, featuring diverse landscapes that support numerous indigenous species of central Asia.

Kazakhstan established Buiratau National Park on March 11, 2011, to protect local ecosystems and maintain the natural heritage of the northern region.

The park demonstrates Kazakhstan's dedication to maintaining natural spaces while encouraging residents to connect with the country's diverse ecological environments.

Visitors can reach the park from Astana via a highway approximately 250 kilometers away, with entrance fees collected at the main gate.

The park houses 305 animal species and over 450 plant varieties, including rare Yereimantau wild sheep populations and multiple raptor species.
