Talan Towers, Mixed-use skyscraper complex in Astana, Kazakhstan
Talan Towers is a two-building complex with heights of 146 meters and 120 meters housing offices, residences, and retail spaces in central Astana. The development includes 168 hotel rooms, 27 luxury apartments, and 500 parking spaces.
Construction of the complex began in the early 2010s under Turner International LLC supervision and finished in 2017. The project emerged during Astana's rapid expansion as Kazakhstan's new capital city.
The name Talan draws from traditional Kazakh concepts of prosperity and success, reflected in this modern building project. The towers have become a recognizable part of the city's visual identity and shape how people experience downtown Astana.
The complex is easily accessible in downtown Astana with abundant parking available for visitors and occupants. Its central location and ample facilities make it straightforward to explore the site on foot.
Metal Yapı engineered the towers to withstand temperatures swinging from -40°C in winter to +40°C in summer through specialized construction techniques. This resilience against extreme climate is a notable aspect often overlooked by visitors.
