Pljevlja, Administrative center in northern Montenegro
The city stretches along the Ćehotina River at an elevation of 770 meters, surrounded by mountains in the northern region of Montenegro.
Dating back to the 6th century, Pljevlja contains Roman archaeological sites, including Municipium S in the Komini neighborhood with preserved artifacts.
