Iztapasauria, Dinosaur theme park in Iztapalapa, Mexico.
Located within the Deportivo Santa Cruz Meyehualco sports center, Iztapasauria spans 150,000 square meters of entertainment space with thirteen animatronic dinosaurs.
The park opened on December 4, 2021, following an investment of 100 million pesos for the rehabilitation of the sports center and installation.
Paleontology experts from UNAM Institute of Geology contributed their knowledge to ensure accurate representations of prehistoric species like Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus.
The park offers free admission to visitors and includes facilities such as restrooms, food stalls, and resting areas throughout the premises.
Motion-activated animatronic dinosaurs produce sounds and movements, creating an interactive experience among replicated Mesozoic jungle environments.
