Siddha Baba Temple, Hindu temple in Rupandehi District, Nepal.
Siddha Baba Temple is a Hindu temple on the bank of the Tinau River in Rupandehi District, Nepal. The site holds several shrines dedicated to different deities, and the main structure features traditionally carved stone decorations with religious motifs.
The temple was officially registered with the District Administration of Palpa in 1998, which gave it formal status as a religious institution. Since then, it has grown into a well-known place of worship for communities across the Rupandehi area.
Worshippers come here to pray to Shiva, Ganesh, and other deities, often leaving flower offerings and ringing small bells as part of their daily rituals. On festival days, the grounds fill with people from the surrounding area performing ceremonies together.
The temple is close to Butwal and can be reached on foot or by vehicle, with a rest house and parking area on the grounds. Visiting in the early morning gives a calmer experience, as the site tends to be busier later in the day.
Devotees who have had their wishes granted release pigeons at the temple as an act of gratitude, a custom that has led to a large flock living permanently on the grounds. These birds are one of the first things visitors notice when they arrive.
