Saint Patrick's Cathedral

Saint Patrick's Cathedral is a Gothic Revival church in the Saddar district featuring pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and flying buttresses throughout. The building combines typical gothic elements that create a sense of height and lightness while standing in the heart of the city.

The original church was established in 1845, and the current cathedral was built in 1881 to replace it. The new structure was constructed to serve the expanding Catholic population in the rapidly growing city.
