Hawke's Bay Beach

Hawke's Bay Beach is a sandy coastline situated along the Arabian Sea southwest of Karachi. The shore extends across a wide area with open access to the water for swimming and water activities.

The beach took its name from Bladen Wilmer Hawke, a property owner in the 1930s who lived in a house directly on the shore. Over time, this private property area became a public destination.

The beach serves as a gathering place where families enjoy traditional activities like camel and horse riding. It remains an important spot in local daily life for recreation and spending time together.

The area is accessible via multiple roads from Karachi, with local vendors selling food and drinks along the coast. Visitors should bring sun protection for the hot hours and be aware of local water conditions.

A wetland center run by the World Wide Fund for Nature monitors endangered green sea turtles nesting here. Visitors might see conservation work happening along the shore during certain seasons.
