Nazimabad District, Administrative district in Karachi Division, Pakistan.
The district encompasses five main subdivisions: Gulberg, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, New Karachi, and North Nazimabad, forming a densely populated urban area.
Established in 2013 as part of Karachi's administrative restructuring, the district emerged from the restoration of five original districts within Karachi Division.
The population of nearly three million residents speaks multiple languages including Urdu, Pashto, Sindhi, Punjabi, Saraiki, Balochi, and Hindko.
The district functions as a central transportation hub with extensive road networks connecting various neighborhoods and commercial zones within Karachi.
Between 1998 and 2017, New Karachi subdivision experienced the largest population growth, increasing from 582,866 to 871,232 residents.
