Safari Park, Public safari park in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Pakistan
The 148-acre wildlife sanctuary contains large enclosures where numerous animal species move freely across green landscapes within their natural habitats.
Lieutenant General Atiq-ur-Rehman opened the park in 1970 as an independent project under the management of Karachi Municipal Corporation.
The Kashmir Point section extends over 4 acres with water flowing down a 210-foot mountainous slope, reflecting regional geographic elements.
The park operates daily from 6 AM to 8 PM, with safari bus tours starting at 2 PM and entrance fees of 30 PKR per person.
The facility includes Swan Lake with a pagoda viewing area, where visitors feed white swans while observing various bird species in their environment.
