Raghagan Dam

The concrete structure extends 80 meters in length and reaches a height of 17 meters, featuring a 23-meter-wide base in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Construction of the infrastructure project began in January 2013 with an estimated budget of 483 million Pakistani rupees for completion by June 2021.

The dam stands as a testament to Pakistan's water management initiatives, supporting agricultural communities in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

The reservoir maintains a storage capacity of 2609 acre-feet, providing irrigation capabilities for approximately 3,500 acres of agricultural land.

Located 13 kilometers east of Khaar town, the dam's design incorporates specific engineering elements to handle the regional geological conditions.
