Gmina Strawczyn

Gmina Strawczyn is a rural municipality in Kielce County, southern Poland, made up of 12 villages spread across diverse terrain. The district serves as an administrative center for the surrounding farming communities and their residents.

This area was the birthplace of Stefan Żeromski, an important Polish writer in the late 1800s whose literary works shaped national culture. His connection to the region remains a significant part of the district's past.
