Silesian Beskids Landscape Park

The Silesian Beskids Landscape Park extends across 386 square kilometers, featuring mountain ranges, dense forests, and numerous hiking trails throughout the protected area.

Established in 1998, the park became a Category V protected area under IUCN guidelines to preserve the natural environments of the Silesian Beskids mountain range.

The mountain regions within the park maintain connections to the Goral people, who developed specific traditions and customs adapted to life in these elevations.

Visitors can access multiple entry points throughout Żywiec County, with designated parking areas and information centers providing maps of the extensive trail network.

The park contains 20 mountain peaks exceeding 1,000 meters in elevation, including Skrzyczne, which reaches 1,257 meters as the highest point.
