Jan Henryk Dąbrowski Park in Poznań, Urban park in central Poznań, Poland
Jan Henryk Dąbrowski Park is a roughly four-hectare green space in central Poznań with multiple pathways throughout. Ash trees, lindens, and horse chestnuts line the walkways, with the Stary Browar complex directly adjacent.
The land once belonged to the Mycielski family, who maintained a manor house and gardens on the property. In 1832 the area was converted into a Lutheran and Calvinist cemetery.
The Methodist Church of the Holy Cross stands within the park grounds and was built in the 1880s. Summer exhibitions feature insect models displayed throughout the area.
The park is bounded by four streets: Ogrodowa to the north, Ratajczaka to the west, Półwiejska to the east, and Stary Browar to the south. This clear layout makes navigation and finding the space straightforward.
A single Empire-style gravestone column remains from the cemetery period. Several trees throughout the park display unusually forked trunks and gnarled growth patterns.
