Mauzoleum Mielochów

Mauzoleum Mielochów is a commemorative burial structure built from classical elements with eight columns supporting a domed roof. A staircase leads visitors up to an elevated platform beneath the dome.

Wanda Kiszczenko née Mieloch commissioned this structure in 1934 as a burial place for her brother Andrzej and his family members. The remains were relocated in the 1970s when the surrounding area changed ownership.

The Mieloch name lives on through this structure, showing how prosperous families honored their dead in early 20th century Poland. This small building shapes the character of this quiet place to this day.

This memorial sits in a quiet residential area of Chartowo and can be viewed from street level. After restoration work completed in 2006, the structure is stable and easy to approach.

This structure was originally designed as a private family memorial and stood on the Mieloch family's personal land for many years. The relocation of the remains coincided with broader changes to the surrounding area, linking personal history to local development.
