Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias, Neo-Gothic chapel at Furnas Lake, Azores, Portugal.

The chapel stands on the western shore of Furnas Lake, featuring a slim tower with ornate stone carvings and stained glass windows.

Built in 1882 by José do Canto as a tribute to his wife Maria Guilhermina, the chapel became their final resting place after his death in 1898.

The chapel contains eighteen stained glass windows depicting gospel scenes and an altar with Byzantine gold elements and enamelled bronze fixtures.

Located four miles south of Furnas town center, the chapel welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for interior visits.

The architect André Breton based the design on the Seminary Church of Angers, using local basalt and tuff stone for construction.
