The 800-meter-long beach features golden sand stretching along the coast, bordered by the Inatel Albufeira Hotel and meeting Praia dos Alemães.
The beach earned its name from the Inatel Hotel construction during Albufeira's transformation from a fishing village into a primary tourist destination.
The Bairro dos Pescadores district near the beach maintains connections to the local fishing heritage through its architecture and daily activities.
The beach provides two licensed restaurants, shower facilities, sun lounger rentals, and lifeguard services from May through October each year.
A distinctive stone wall with circular openings leads visitors down to the shore, where a raised boardwalk extends across sections of the beach.
