Lake Zlatibor

Lake Zlatibor is an artificial reservoir in the village center, measuring approximately 150 meters long and 50 meters wide, fed by the mountain stream Obudovica. The water is surrounded by a paved area with walking paths, benches, and tall pine trees that provide a natural setting for activities across all seasons.

The water body was constructed in 1947 and has remained a central feature of the local landscape and community since then. Its creation was part of the region's early development plans and continues to shape the character of Zlatibor today.

The lake serves as a gathering place within the village center, where locals spend time on leisurely walks and social moments. The paved paths and benches form the backdrop for everyday community life and create a meeting point where visitors and residents come to relax.

The area features paved pathways and ample benches, making it easy to access for visitors of all ages. A bus station, post office, market, and shopping center nearby support convenient visits combined with other village activities.

During winter months, the water surface regularly freezes, and locals use the ice for skating. This seasonal transformation makes the lake a different experience and shows how the place serves multiple purposes throughout the year.
