Ras Museum Novi Pazar

The Ras Museum occupies a restored 19th-century building that served as a Turkish gymnasium, featuring multiple exhibition halls across two floors.

Established in 1953 as the City Museum, the institution relocated to its current location in 1957 and received its present name, Museum of Ras.

The museum houses over 6,000 artifacts including traditional garments, copper wares, and a complete Oriental-style room representing the Muslim heritage of the region.

Located at Stevana Nemanje 20, the museum contains archaeological, ethnological, historical, and applied art collections from the Raška and Sandžak regions.

The museum exhibits an Iron Age warrior skeleton and maintains collections of ancient writings in Arabic, Hebrew, and Old Church Slavonic languages.
