Arena Khimki, Football stadium in Khimki, Russia
Arena Khimki is a football stadium in the city of Khimki, about 30 km north of Moscow. The venue holds around 18,600 spectators and meets international standards for professional matches.
The stadium opened in September 2008 after a three-year construction period. The project was completed under the architectural direction of Mihailo Stupar from Maritimo Group.
This venue represents a central point for football development in the Moscow region, hosting matches for multiple professional clubs including FC Khimki and FC Dynamo Moscow.
The stadium sits about 300 meters north of the MKAD highway, making it accessible by public transport or car. This central location means spectators can travel easily from Moscow and the surrounding areas.
From 2010 to 2016, PFC CSKA Moscow used the stadium as their home ground after relocating from the larger Luzhniki Stadium. This period marked an important chapter when one of Moscow's major clubs played their matches here.
