Borodinskaya panorama museum, Historical museum in Victory Park, Moscow, Russia
The circular glass building contains a monumental painted panorama measuring 115 meters in length and 15 meters in height.
Artist Franz Roubaud completed this circular painting in 1912 to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Borodino.
This representation of the battle against Napoleon stands as a central piece of Russian military heritage from August 26, 1812.
The museum welcomes visitors Monday through Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM, with extended hours until 9 PM on Thursdays.
The museum displays a reconstruction from 1887 of peasant Mikhail Frolov's hut where General Kutuzov held his military council.
