OKO South Tower, Postmodern skyscraper in Moscow City district, Russia
OKO South Tower is a 354-meter-tall building with 85 floors above ground and 2 basement levels in Moscow's International Business Center. The structure houses residential apartments, office spaces, and various amenities serving both business and residential purposes.
The architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill completed this mixed-use tower in 2015 as part of the larger OKO complex. Since its opening, it has become a defining landmark for Moscow's modern business district.
The name OKO comes from an old Russian word meaning eye, reflecting how residents and visitors perceive this structure as a viewing point across Moscow's sprawling cityscape.
Access varies depending on the area, as residential apartments, offices, and public spaces serve different purposes. Keep in mind that not all sections are freely accessible, and some zones are reserved for specific tenants or visitors.
The building features a rooftop ice rink at 354 meters, making it the highest skating facility in Europe. This unusual rooftop feature combines thrill with views, offering an unforgettable experience for those who visit.
