Eurasia, Glass skyscraper in Moscow City Business District, Russia
Eurasia is a modern skyscraper with 72 floors that rises 309 meters above Moscow City, featuring a curved glass and steel exterior. Inside, the tower combines offices, apartments, hotels, and shops, creating a mixed-use space that serves multiple purposes.
Construction started in 2006 and the tower opened in 2014 as part of Moscow's transformation into a global financial center. Its completion represented a milestone in the city's urban modernization during this period of change.
The tower shows how Moscow has embraced global business architecture, transforming the city's profile with its modern design. You can see this shift reflected in how locals and visitors move through the building for work, shopping, and dining throughout the day.
The tower sits within Moscow City and connects easily to nearby metro stations, making it accessible by public transport. Keep in mind that some areas are restricted since offices and residences occupy most of the building's interior.
This tower was the first in Russia to use a hybrid construction system combining steel frame with reinforced concrete, an engineering innovation for tall buildings. This approach made the structure more stable and resilient to environmental forces.
