Munira Ufa Mosque, Islamic mosque in Nizhgorodka district, Ufa, Russia.
Munira Mosque is a modern white-walled prayer house in the Leninsky district of Ufa, designed to accommodate around 100 worshippers. It sits on the shore of Lake Dolgoye and features contemporary architectural elements throughout its structure.
Construction began in 2002 and finished in 2011 under architect Vakil Davletshin, who also designed other mosques in the region. This period marked a growth in Islamic community spaces across Ufa.
The mosque functions as an educational center offering lectures on Islamic fundamentals, traditional cooking classes, and handicraft workshops for younger generations.
This mosque stands at 2 Zaozernaya Street and is the only one serving this particular neighborhood of Ufa. Visitors will find it easily accessible from surrounding residential areas, with the lakeside location providing a calm setting.
The mosque received its name from Munira Baygildina, head of the Muslim women's society, who funded the entire construction through personal contributions.
