Ha'il

This regional capital in northern Saudi Arabia sits just under 1000 meters above sea level between mountains and agricultural land. The city spreads across a wide valley where residential neighborhoods, markets, and modern buildings form a connected urban fabric.

This city was the center of an independent emirate from 1836 to 1921, covering the Jabal Shammar region. After Saudi forces took over, it became part of the emerging kingdom.
