Majmaah University, At Saudia Arabia
Majmaah University is a public institution located in Majmaah city in the southern part of the town. The campus features around 20 buildings housing classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and administrative offices spread across a large, organized area with paved walkways connecting different spaces.
The university was established in 2009 and was one of four new institutions opened that year in Saudi Arabia. It was created to provide higher education access to students in northern regions without requiring long journeys to distant cities.
The university takes its name from the city where it stands, reflecting the area's local identity. The campus serves as a gathering place for students from across the region who come together daily to study and connect in open spaces.
The campus is well-organized and easy to navigate, with paved pathways leading between buildings. Visitors will find cafes and small shops on campus where they can purchase drinks and snacks, and the location is easily visible from the highway connecting Riyadh and Qassim.
The institution operates 13 academic schools and is known for its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, which supports local business ventures in the region. Additionally, it houses a specialized Prosthetic Rehabilitation Center that provides medical services to the surrounding community.
