Stockholm Palace, Royal palace in Gamla stan, Sweden
The Stockholm Palace contains 1,430 rooms across eleven floors, with state apartments overlooking the city and residential spaces facing the inner courtyard.
After a fire destroyed the Tre Kronor Castle in 1697, architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger designed this Baroque palace, which was completed in 1760.
