The Tele2 Arena features a retractable roof and transparent walls, accommodating 30,000 spectators for football matches and 45,000 for concert events.

Construction of the 2.7 billion SEK arena began in September 2010, with its official opening taking place on July 20, 2013 with a match between Hammarby and Örgryte IS.

The stadium hosts home matches for both Djurgårdens IF and Hammarby IF football clubs, along with international concerts from major performing artists throughout the year.

The venue connects directly to Globen Metro Station and includes extensive facilities for dining, refreshments, and efficient crowd movement through multiple entrance points.

The metal basket-braid exterior structure expands wider at the top, incorporating Nordic design principles while maximizing space on a limited construction footprint.
