Phuket Zoo

The zoo spans across 4.8 hectares of land near Phuket Bay, featuring exhibits of tigers, monkeys, elephants, crocodiles, and tropical birds.

Established in 1997 as a private facility, Phuket Zoo developed into a tourist attraction that temporarily closed its operations during 2020.

The facility introduces visitors to Thai wildlife through presentations of native species and traditional animal training methods common in Southeast Asia.

Located at 23/3 Moo 3 on Soi Palai, Chalong, the zoo operates daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM with photography opportunities throughout the premises.

The zoo houses an aquarium section displaying marine creatures alongside its land animal exhibits, creating a comprehensive wildlife experience.
