Havza

Havza is an administrative district in Samsun Province located in the Black Sea region of Turkey. The area sits at an elevation of approximately 675 meters (2,215 feet) and spans roughly 865 square kilometers (334 square miles).

The name Havza comes from the Ottoman period, deriving from an administrative term used in that era's governance system. The district has deep roots in the settlement patterns and trading networks of the Black Sea region.
