The Samsun Gazi Museum occupies a two-story brick building with timber interior walls, displaying archaeological artifacts and personal items of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The museum building, formerly known as Mantika Palas hotel from 1902, served as Ataturk's headquarters during his arrival in Samsun on May 19, 1919.
The museum exhibits include the original copy of the Tenth Year Speech, Ottoman documents, and archaeological finds from the ancient city of Amisos.
Located in the Ilkadim district on Mecidiye Street, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with free admission.
The collection contains gold jewelry from Hellenistic period, bronze spearheads with reliefs, and pierced skulls dating back to the Early Bronze Age.
