Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium is a modern football venue in Tekkeköy with contemporary design featuring red mesh exterior walls and large glass surfaces on its southern side. The structure accommodates roughly 33,900 spectators and includes 54 executive suites for premium viewing experiences.

Construction began in August 2013 and lasted four years until the venue opened in 2017, replacing an older stadium in the Canik district. The new facility was part of efforts to upgrade sports infrastructure in the Samsun region.

The name refers to May 19, 1919, a pivotal moment in Turkish history when Mustafa Kemal arrived in Samsun to launch the independence movement. Locals connect this place to that significant chapter and mark the date each year.
