Kırklar Kilisesi, Syriac Orthodox church in Artuklu, Turkey.
The rectangular structure features twelve thick columns supporting arches, with narrow windows allowing natural light into the worship space.
Built in 569 and consecrated to Saint Behnam and his sister Saro, the church received the relics of forty martyrs in 1170.
The church contains wooden gates over 400 years old and displays root-dyed curtains that represent traditional Syriac craftsmanship.
