Grot van Beldibi

The Beldibi Cave measures 5 meters in width, 4 meters in depth, and 3.5 meters in height, featuring two distinct compartments formed of flint.

The archaeological site contains evidence of human habitation from the Upper Paleolithic period, with discoveries of tools, animal bones, and fossils throughout the chambers.

The cave walls display rock art paintings created with manganese and iron oxide pigments, depicting human figures, deer, and goats from prehistoric times.

Located 20 kilometers from Kemer, visitors can access the cave by following the D400 road and turning towards the sea at the Chamdag Tunnel entrance.

The site represents the sole known location of cave art in western Asia, containing both naturalistic forms and geometric patterns from ancient civilizations.
