Atatürk Monument, Memorial statue in Yehud, Israel
The bronze bust of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stands on a marble foundation with inscriptions in Turkish and Hebrew at the Arkadaş Association compound.
The monument was erected in 2007 during a ceremony attended by Turkish Ambassador Namık Tan to honor the founder of the Turkish Republic.
The inscription 'Peace at home, peace in the world' reflects Atatürk's philosophy and connects Turkish communities in Israel with their heritage.
Visitors can access the monument during the Arkadaş Association's operating hours, where they can learn about Turkish-Israeli cultural relations.
This monument represents one of the few public memorials in Israel dedicated to a non-Jewish international leader from the 20th century.
