Sabancı Cultural Center, Theater complex at west end of Seyhan Bridge, Adana, Turkey
The Hacı Ömer Sabancı Cultural Center spans 1.5 hectares and contains a theater hall, public library, fine arts gallery, and exhibition spaces.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has managed this institution since its 1976 opening, with the Adana State Theatre establishing residency in 1981.
The theater hall hosts performances by the Adana State Theatre and local groups from October through May, including the annual International Sabancı Theater Festival.
The complex features a 368-seat theater hall, a 200-seat library operating year-round, and multiple exhibition spaces for various artistic presentations.
The 2011 festival featured a performance called Water Symphony by Studio Festi, staged directly on the Seyhan River near the cultural center.
