Atatürk Museum

The Atatürk Museum is a two-story brick and stone building with traditional Ottoman architectural features, containing multiple exhibition rooms and a surrounding garden. The structure displays characteristic design elements typical of residential buildings from that era.

The house hosted a significant visit on March 15, 1923, and was later converted into a museum to preserve this historical connection. The transformation into a public space occurred decades afterward to safeguard the memory of this important moment.

The rooms display personal items and photographs from daily life, showing visitors how the founder lived beyond his public role. Objects like furniture, clothing, and correspondence reveal the person behind the historical figure.

The museum is located in the Kayalıbağ district and offers guided tours in multiple languages for visitors. Special events and commemorative gatherings take place throughout the year on particular dates.

The museum's collection includes approximately one thousand books in historical languages, representing an extensive library from that period. A notable display piece is a clock that preserves a specific moment in time.
