Merkez Park, Urban riverside park in Adana, Turkey.
Merkez Park extends over 33 hectares along both banks of the Seyhan River, from Sabancı Mosque to Galleria Shopping Mall.
The park space emerged in 2004 after relocating the Central Bus Terminal and transforming former citrus gardens and residential areas.
The 2100-seat amphitheater at the northern end of the park hosts regular concerts and outdoor movie screenings throughout the year.
Visitors can access 3 kilometers of walking and cycling paths that wind through the landscaped grounds of the park.
The park displays 67 tree species, 40 cactus varieties, and numerous plants shaped into animal figures across its grounds.
