Adana Dârüleytâm, Ottoman orphanage in Adana, Turkey.
The three-story building stands as a historical structure with tall windows and traditional Ottoman architectural elements on its stone facade.
Constructed in 1909 and opened in 1911, the institution initially provided care for 500 Armenian children who lost their parents in the Adana events.
The facility operated under strict regulations that mandated Turkish as the primary language of instruction for all children in residence.
The former orphanage building now functions as Adana Fen Lisesi, continuing its educational purpose through a different institution.
Principal Vahakn Datevyan managed the orphanage during its early years until 1916, when significant administrative changes altered the institution's direction.
