Saint Paul Church, Catholic church in Seyhan, Turkey
The church building features a prominent entrance facade with decorative elements and a 2.5-meter bronze statue of Virgin Mary on its rooftop.
Constructed between 1880 and 1890 as an Armenian Apostolic Church, the structure later connected to the Vatican after the Armenian population departed from Adana in 1915.
The building received its Turkish name Bebekli Kilise from the bronze statue of Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus, as bebek means baby in Turkish language.
Located between Cemal Gürsel Street and 5 Ocak Square, the church opens five days weekly with visiting hours from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 17:00.
The church stands near multiple historical sites including Oil Mosque, Kazancılar Bazaar, and Adana Clock Tower, forming a central point for historical exploration.
