Tek Tek Mountains National Park

The Tek Tek Mountains National Park extends across 19,335 hectares of land, featuring diverse geological formations and natural habitats for regional wildlife species.

The park encompasses ancient ruins from the 2nd to 4th centuries, including Shuayip City with its stone rock tombs and surrounding protective walls.

The area contains Soğmatar ruins, a former center of Pagan worship where rituals were conducted in an open-air temple dedicated to the chief deity Marelahe.

The national park provides maintained hiking trails and guided tours, allowing visitors to explore the mountainous terrain and archaeological sites throughout the year.

The three-story cut stone structure located on a hilltop served as either a palace or monastery, representing early Christian architectural developments in the region.
