Şanlıurfa Archaeology and Mosaic Museum

The museum spans 34,000 square meters with two main sections dedicated to archaeological findings and ancient mosaics from southeastern Turkey.

Founded in 1987 and relocated to its current building in 2015, the museum preserves artifacts from Göbekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, and Harran sites.

The museum displays the Orpheus mosaic from 184 AD, which returned to Turkey in 2015 after being held in Dallas Museum.

The museum complex includes a library, laboratory, restaurants, markets, and operates daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with an admission fee of 210 TRY.

A 9,500-year-old human sculpture, considered the largest of its time, stands among the primary exhibits in the archaeological section.
