Falih Rıfkı Atay Nature Park

Located in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, this protected nature park extends across 16.33 hectares of diverse woodland and recreational areas.

The establishment of the park in 2011 marked the preservation initiative of a former settlement area where Serbian captives resided following the 1521 Siege of Belgrade.

The nature park carries the name of Turkish journalist and writer Falih Rıfkı Atay, connecting environmental conservation with literary heritage.

Visitors need to pay entrance fees for both individuals and vehicles, with access to hiking trails, cycling paths, and children's playgrounds throughout the grounds.

The park houses a deer breeding station and features historic structures including an ancient church registered as cultural heritage since 1999.
