Milas Museum, Archaeological museum in Milas, Turkey
The museum occupies a two-story building with a yard of 1.5 decares, displaying over 3,000 archaeological artifacts and 1,174 coins from different periods.
Established in 1987, the museum houses collections from ancient sites including Stratonicea, Iasos, Damlıboğaz, and Beçin, spanning Hellenistic through Ottoman periods.
The ethnographic section contains 164 items representing regional traditions, including traditional clothing, household items, and tools used by local communities.
Located at Hisarbaşı-hoca Bedrettin, Tabakhane Street 30, the museum welcomes visitors from Monday to Sunday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
A notable exhibit includes a second-century statue of Zeus measuring six feet tall, demonstrating the Roman and Hellenistic artistic techniques.
