Asa Wright Nature Centre

The Asa Wright Nature Centre spans 270 acres of protected tropical forest, containing more than 400 bird species within its boundaries.

The center provides overnight accommodations, guided tours, and early morning bird watching sessions from its observation deck overlooking the valley.

Researchers at the center study the rare Oilbird colony, which inhabits the only accessible cave system in Trinidad where these nocturnal birds nest.
