Taoyuan Arena is an indoor multi-purpose sports hall in Taoyuan, Taiwan, used for basketball, volleyball, and other sports as well as concerts and entertainment events. The roof is held up by a cable system that resembles a bicycle wheel, giving the building its recognizable shape.
The arena opened in 1993 and was at the time one of the largest sports buildings in the region. Over the years it has been renovated to keep up with new types of events and the expectations of audiences.
