Chu Lu Ranch, Agricultural complex in Beinan, Taiwan
Chu Lu Ranch is a dairy farming operation situated on sloped land at elevations ranging from 200 to 390 meters. The property includes areas for animal housing, milk production, and processing of dairy products.
The facility was founded in 1973 as a specialized dairy production site in the Taitung region. Over the decades, it expanded its operations beyond milk production alone.
The ranch reflects how visitors can observe livestock raising and farming in the hilly landscape of Taitung today. Daily work with animals and fields shapes how people experience rural life when walking through the property.
The ranch can be reached by train to Shanli Station or via Provincial Highway 9 after taking National Highway 5. Visitors should expect sloped terrain, which makes walking around challenging.
The operation produces around 500 tons of milk annually and has also developed a line of skin care products using dairy ingredients. This diversification shows how the facility uses its raw materials to create additional products for sale.
