New Taipei Industrial Park Station, Transfer station in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei, Taiwan
New Taipei Industrial Park Station is a transfer hub in Xinzhuang District with four tracks for airport trains and separate platforms for the circular line. The station sits at an elevation of about 34 meters and connects two different rapid transit lines together.
The station began operations on March 2, 2017, as part of the Taoyuan Airport MRT service. Additional platforms opened on January 31, 2020, to expand the connection within the growing network.
The station brings together workers from surrounding factories and residents from nearby neighborhoods in daily movement patterns. It shows how a transit hub functions as a social crossroads for different groups moving through the city.
YouBike bicycles are available near Exit 1, and restrooms are located on the concourse level. Information booths on the first and third floors help visitors find their way around.
This location is Taiwan's only place where two different elevated rapid transit systems meet and intersect. A 40-meter bridge connects the platforms between these two lines, making transfers here a distinctive experience.
